Hello, ladies and gentlemen. It is with a heavy heart that I share my story today. Asking for help does not come easily to me, but I find myself in a position where I truly need support. Recently, my world was turned upside down when I was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer. On November 17, 2025, I received the devastating news that I would require emergency surgery to stop the spread of the disease. The surgery took place the very next day, on November 18, and I am grateful to say that it was successful. I should specify that the surgery itself was successful; however, unfortunately, that does not mean I am cured.
Despite this, my journey is far from over. There are still parts of the cancer that could not be surgically removed, and now I must undergo ongoing chemotherapy and other treatments. The costs for these essential treatments are overwhelming, and I am struggling to keep up with medical bills, medications, and daily living expenses. The financial burden is huge, especially since I live in Ohio and have to pay for my apartment and basic needs during the very cold winter months, causing heating bills to be higher than normal.
This experience has tested me in every way—physically, emotionally, and financially. For the sake of transparency, I am including images that reflect my current situation. I want to assure you that I would never make light of or fabricate a story about cancer. I have seen how hurtful those false stories can be, and it is deeply upsetting that people actually do that. All of my documentation is readily available for anyone who is in the position to help but skeptical.
I am reaching out with humility, asking for any help you can provide. No donation is too small, and every bit helps me continue my fight and maintain a safe place to live. Your support means more to me than words can express. Thank you for your kindness and consideration.
With gratitude,
Ryan Spencer
