As most of you know Coyt has to have his shoulder replaced. His surgery is a reverse shoulder replacement to change the center of gravity of the shoulder to make the deltoid take over the range of motion of his arm. This is where they take the ball of the humorous off and relocate it to the scapula and the cup side will be attached to the humorous. He will be in a sling for the better part of two weeks and then rehab starts. He will not be able to work for at least a month while healing from surgery. We are guessing the amount of time for recovery by what other people have experienced after having the same procedure. It could be longer because every one is different. He will be without his income for that time and we are asking for some help with living expenses such as rents ‘utilities’ food etc..

Before becoming a massage therapist Coyt worked as a a body man and collision work on cars. He then opened his own shop and did some amazing restorations on antique vehicles. The amount of repetitive motion that carrier required started some of the deterioration in his shoulders. He then went to school for HVAC and dabbled in that carrier while building a clientele in massage. All of which has really created the perfect storm for the eventual tear in his arm.

He has been a Massage therapist for 16 years and has been dedicated to his clients and their needs. Often working holidays and after hours to get every one on the calendar. He has been working for the past four months with a complete tear  of supraspinatus and infraspinatus off his rotator cuff to meet clientele demand because of his dedication to his career and clients. He works through some really bad pain but he selflessly carries on because of his work ethic. I finally got him to go see a doctor about what needs to happen and surgery is the only solution. You can imagine that he is having anxiety over the situation but it is what it is. We want him healthy and pain free so he can continue to take care of you all.

I am asking that we all come together and help Coyt get back the use of his arm without worrying about expenses. Any amount you can afford to donate would be most apricated. The funds would be used on rents, utilities, food, medications, etc.. We are asking for donations or you can go to our on line store and purchase services to be used with Sheila and of course Coyt when he is healed up. The web site is Rubdownsmassagellc.com.
