I am a retired healthcare worker. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in September of 2016. Treatments are long and I have been very ill. As you can see from my picture I put on a brave face. But it truly is a struggle. The Medical bills are very costly. The strain these diseases put family members are tremendous. I am fortunate,I have a great family. But there is only so much they can do. Cost of travel and the medical bills that insurance won\’t cover are many. I am hoping that this struggle will be over soon.
