NIKKI ARMSTRONG BIRTHDAY 8/16/23 – UPDATE
Although wheelchair bound for now, Nikki is doing better and is in good spirits. She still needs our help as she is falling behind with her caregiver in-home (who has been wonderful to Nikki)

UPDATE – Nikki had spinal surgery to remove a tumor that was threatening to have her paralyzed within 1-2 weeks from her admittance to the Hospital about 2 weeks ago. The surgery went very well and that threat is past for the moment. Nikki is now in Rehab at the hospital to gain her strength back so that she might be able to go home in the next week to 10 days.
The Cancer has gotten into her bones in her spine and we are awaiting detailed information as to how we will proceed. Any donation will result in an immediate tax deduction certificate and all donations are needed during this time.

You will see how valuable this person is to Life. Nikki, “Our Lady of Song,” has been a Recording Artist, Performer, Band Leader, Producer, Vocal Coach, Radio Host and NY Blues & Jazz Society Board Member and has helped hundreds of Artists and Musicians over the years. Always a source of unlimited energy, positive attitude and an all-around creative tornado until November 2022 when she was stopped in her tracks diagnosed with Stage IV Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer. This condition has caused debilitating blockage throughout her spine limiting her mobility. Her doctor’s prognosis was bleak, with little hope for survival through conventional treatments.
But, she has been using the same passion for life in a new way; doing everything available to get back to battery via alternative therapies that actually work in killing Cancer cells and tumors. These alternative protocols and systems are NOT covered by any insurance companies. The costs for consultations, clinics visits, imaging, testing, supplements, travel, and more are adding up to $4000 to $5000 each month and we estimate that in order to be totally cancer free will take about 2 years. As such, with no income due to her illness, fundraising is her only hope.
It is heartbreaking to see such a bright light as Nikki’s made dimmer. Although she has dedicated her life to inspiring and helping others, she can now concentrate only on helping herself. With the money raised through this campaign and a beautiful fundraising performance by her esteemed musician friends (see attached video link) she has made notable improvement using these alternative methods, but that money will soon be running out.
