My name is Faye, and I am reaching out during the most difficult period of my life. Three years ago, I suffered a heart attack that ended a very successful 55‑year career. I have worked my entire life, but after the heart attack I could no longer work or travel extensively and everything I had built began to fall apart. With only my Social Security benefits not covering all expenses, I lost my home, my car, and eventually the apartment I was renting because I no longer had the income to support myself.

Since then, I have been living week to week in the cheapest hotels I can find, relying on food banks for meals, and trying to stay safe while managing serious health issues. About six months ago, I fell and severely injured my spine. The injury has worsened, and I am now scheduled for major spinal surgery in about a month. The pain and mobility issues have made daily life extremely difficult.

Through all of this, my emotional support animal, Mikey, has been my constant companion. He brings comfort, stability, and emotional grounding during a time when everything else feels uncertain. He is small, gentle, and full of love — and he helps me cope with the pain, fear, and instability of my situation.

Right now, my greatest fear is becoming completely homeless before I even make it to surgery. I need help to stay sheltered, fed, and stable long enough to get through surgery and recovery. Without support, I don’t know how we will make it. This plea for help is humbling to say the least and I know in my heart the God is watching over me and guiding my every step. It is my hope that you are touched by Him and my story and will help me.

Funds will go directly toward:
• Temporary housing so we are not living on the street
• Food and basic necessities
• Transportation to medical appointments and surgery
• A safe place to recover after spinal surgery
• Care and stability for my ESA, Mikey, who is essential to my emotional well‑being

I have always worked hard and taken care of myself, but life has taken a turn I never expected. Asking for help is not easy, but I am out of options. Any support — no matter the amount — will make a real difference in keeping me safe and giving me a chance to recover and rebuild. I would feel truly blessed if someone has an old car to donate.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any kindness you can offer. Your support truly means the world to me, my son, and Mikey.

May God Bless You.
