Nestled in the heart of our historic town center, beside the original Meeting House, stands a treasured symbol of our community’s faith, resilience, and history — the Litchfield Community Church Presbytery, affectionately known as the Old White Church founded in 1736.
For generations, this beautiful building has been a place of worship, fellowship, and celebration. Its iconic white façade has welcomed countless families, visitors, and seekers of peace. However, time and New England’s weather have taken a toll on the structure. Today, the Old White Church urgently needs restoration and repainting to preserve its dignity and ensure it continues to inspire future generations.
