Alan was diagnosed with a brain tumor at 7 months old. For the past 2 years we have been in and out of the hospital with his condition. His tumor unfortunately is inoperable and if it were to be removed, he would be permanently blind. As a parent, our worst fear is to have a child so young, be diagnosed with ANYTHING! The stress is amounted when everyday is unforseen and unknown as his condition progresses. We, as a family altogether have suffered many hardships in order to take care of our son the best way possible. However, we have been recently struggling financially and have not been able to get on our feet for the past 2 years. It is very humbling to be in a position where we have to ask for help but God willing and together we can get through this endeavor.
Alan, at 3 years old now, is very noble and kind. His smile brings joy to the hearts who he meets. It is unfortunate that he sometimes misses out on things that normal children take for granted. Alan has always been at the hospital for all of his birthdays so far. Our campaign is simply to raise funds to help alleviate our financial burden. Asking for assistance allows us to be able to move ourselves around during the most urgent times. This includes being able to pay for medical needs as well as travel necessities. We live over 2 hours away from the hospital.
God Bless and Thank you for your time.
