I’m reaching out during a very critical and emotional time as I continue to face the overwhelming medical challenges of end-stage renal disease, also known as ESRD. This condition has affected every part of my life, physically, emotionally, and financially. I have had countless doctor’s appointments, hospital visits, lab work, testing, and follow-up care, and each step has added to a growing amount of medical bills and related expenses.
As I continue this journey, I am also preparing for the significant costs connected to a kidney transplant. A transplant would be life-changing and would give me the opportunity to move toward a healthier and more stable future. I am currently searching for an O-positive kidney donor, praying and hoping for the right match. While finding a donor is the most important step, there are also many expenses involved, including pre-transplant evaluations, donor testing, medications, travel to appointments, hospital costs, and post-surgery care.
The financial burden has become very difficult to manage, especially while trying to focus on my health and remain strong through this process. Your support would help relieve some of this pressure and allow me to continue taking the necessary steps toward receiving a new kidney.
