I’m struggling with the fact that its come to this. My name is Kristina, I am a single parent of 2, I have raised them on my own since they were barely walking. 15 years ago I started to build a business based on an industry I believed to be untouchable. I live in Florida on the east coast in a beach town, Daytona Beach, the worlds most famous beach. Starting a short term rental cleaning and management business seemed to be a fail proof move. Until Daytona decided to ban STR rentals that is. Overnight my income went from $9k a month to $2k a month during busy season. Not only did this close down 97% of the rental properties that I took car of but I was forced to lay off a lot of good blue collar workers as well. I have been trying to rebuild but I have spent every penny of my savings and I’m not behind on everything. My credit score plummeted from using all my available credit. My car is about to be repossessed and I’ve hit a new level of desperation. I’m also a certified empowerment coach and I have been working to build my client list in that area as well. I have big ideas and dreams I just need help getting out of this rut so I can rebuild my credit and find business funding to open a wellness center. I have applied at many many of places but owning a business for 15 years doesn’t give me much work history, not like it should anyways. Interview after interview I have been met with the same rejections. I am putting this out into the universe to ask for help, with no expectations. This is not something I would normally do but I really need help if its out there. I thank you in advance!
