We want to thank everyone who participated in sending us to Esperanza Viva to partner with other families and grow a community of love and friendship between ourselves and this beautiful community in Puebla Mexico! Our kids along with the other 8 children on this trip led 5 full days and evenings of art, craft, science, sport and community events. We shared meals together adn made so many friends! You made this happen and we felt your presence with us in building this bridge of love and friendship! Thank you!

Carlos, Caleb, Natalia and I are excited to share that this Spring we will be going on a Mission Trip to Esperanza Viva Youth Homes, an orphanage in Puebla, Mexico. Caleb and then Natalia were the leaders and inspiration for our joining this mission. Our main purpose is to love on the kids ranging from age 5-18 as we plan activities, play with them, do any jobs, and help with any needs they have. Esperanza Viva means “Living Hope” and provides for the housing, physical, educational, social, and emotional needs of over 500 children. Due to the world economy impacts on extreme poverty, many of the children were abandoned because of their families no longer being able to provide for basic survival needs. You can learn more about the orphanage here: Our kids (and the kids of the other families we are traveling with) are very involved in the planning and are so excited to make so many new friends. The kids are truly leading the way! We invite you to join us by adding your prayers, thoughts, and love to support these precious kids. In addition to raising funds for our trip, we are also raising funds for the orphanage with a special focus on the on-site school project they are currently planning for the children.
