Hello, my name is Alexandra. I’m 29 years old and have 3 kids at home 11,4 and 1. On August 25th, I will undergo a bilateral mastectomy followed by reconstructive surgery as part of a major step toward reclaiming my health. This journey has been one of strength, uncertainty, and difficult choices—but ultimately, it’s about choosing life and healing so I can continue to be here for my children and build a better future.

As a mother of young children and a full-time college student, I wear many hats every day. I’m working hard to create stability for my family and finish my education so I can give my kids the life they deserve. But this upcoming surgery means I’ll be out of work and unable to manage my usual responsibilities for several weeks as I recover. I’m reaching out now to ask for your help during this incredibly vulnerable time.

The funds raised will go directly toward covering essential living expenses, including rent, car insurance, utilities, groceries, and daycare for my children while I am unable to work. With the new school year approaching, I also hope to provide them with school clothes, backpacks, and supplies, so they can start the year feeling confident and secure—even while their mom is healing.

Like so many parents, I try every day to stay strong for my kids, to show up, and to keep moving forward—even when life gets hard. This surgery will give me a healthier future, but I cannot do this part alone. I’m humbly asking for help from friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers who believe in community and compassion.

Every donation, no matter the amount, makes a meaningful difference. Your support will ease the financial burden during my recovery and allow me to focus on healing, both physically and emotionally, without the constant worry of how I’ll keep up with bills or care for my children.

If you’re not able to give financially, I completely understand—sharing this page or sending a message of encouragement is just as powerful. Knowing I’m not alone in this fight gives me the strength I need to face what’s ahead.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your kindness means more than words can express.

With love, strength, and hope,
Alexandra
