Hello and thank you for taking time to watch the video and read my request. Many Americans live one paycheck away from homelessness and the downwards spiral can cause financial burdens and the overwhelming debt continues to pile. Many have no choice but to live on the streets or in their cars if they can afford to keep them running. I am one of those people 3 paychecks away!
In the past 4 years we have served over 6 thousand meals handed out one thousand or more blankets, glove and hats in our winter Holiday drive. We have also provided clothing shoes and lots of Love throughout the year. We have had incredible support at times and other it has been low. Our doors have stayed open and will continue to do so because it is the right thing to do.
This morning as I write this I am in a place of centeredness, clarity and acceptance. Some of you know and others may not since February of last year I have had medical issues. The bulk of the year was spent attempting to manage without hospitalization but alas they did not come to pass. My ability to work has slowly declined over the year and since January has become an inability sustain even part time work. Since my hospitalization things are looking up. Medically not completely stable but no imminent health issues. I beginning a new Job the week of 5/27 one pay period short of my 3 weeks paycheck balance. Again those who know me well know I fiercely independent and struggle to ask for help or assistance. Today I am humbled and have accepted I cannot do this alone. Two pending issues ares rent and and $1000.00 health insurance bill which will cause my insurance to lapse and may not to cover the 85k hospital bill. I ask if you can assist wonderful! I love you sincerely and deeply. If do not feel moved or able to donate I still love you sincerely and deeply. This is and odd place and odd conversation however and opportunity for reflection and conversation with self and others. My deadline is Thursday 5/30/24 Please know this; my friendships are not based on things, contracts or obligations. They are rooted in mutual love of the Divine, acceptance of our and others humanness and the wonderful joy of experiencing life’s highs and lows. This is a finite request this is not an expectation of anything more. I humbly appreciate your consideration.
