Hi, my name is Kristie I recently found out I have a tumor on my voicebox. I am 56 yrs. old. I go to surgery 8/23/2023 to have a port put inside my left upper chest and a feeding tube in my stomach. It will be very painful. I live about 2 hours away from where I will have my treatments. I don’t have but 1 son whom works 7/7 and 1 sister with 2 dieases. My elderly mother is 78 and almost bed ridding. I am not giving up. This hard on me and my family. We would apprecate any help. My sister will eep this upated for me. I have to have so far 35 chem & raditon treatment. It might even demage my vocal cords. My Doctor wants to tae my voice box out, but I refused. If this chemo & radation doesn’t work I done made my mind up. I will not remove my voicebox. This has changed all our lifes right now. I just pray this will get rid of the tumor cancer. Thanks to everyone reading this and any funds I will be grsteful for. I am having this done in Alexandria, La. They have no lodging. I don’t have any money to stay in a motel. I don’t have money anything. This is horrible and no one knows until it hit’s one of your family members. I am really scare and I pray I get better.
