Hi, My name is April & I survived a series of strokes on Nov. 10th, 2021.  Navigating through this experience in life has been my greatest battle in life to date. It is interesting to me that so many people are hit with strokes but there are no entities to help financially. I went to a local stroke site and found a single article which had not been updated since 1992.  Needless to say when I can heal I wish to make a change for stroke victims to come.  I have limited vision and cannot drive, read, take walks alone or watch TV.  I am in therapy, but can no longer go as I cannot afford my copays.  Covid has already depleted my resources as I work in the Hospitality section so paycheck to paycheck.  I would like to go back to work as soon as I am able.  Other people I have spoke with at the eye doctors office say I may get my vision back in 9 months or so, eveyone is different, but how do you survive in the meantime? I have streamlined my bills down to $1000 per month so I am not asking for alot, just to get through this so that I also may help others once I get back on my feet, God willing.
