We are raising funds for Indiana residents, Bill and Hibbie (William and Glenda) Qualkenbush, who are in desperate need of financial assistance and are facing eviction proceedings beginning on January 17, 2026. After suffering injuries, surgeries and nursing home stays over the past several years, funds are depleted. Their current monthly income doesn’t cover basic monthly housing and medication needs. After leaving their marital home and unable to return due to its lack of livability and the need for assistance and care a few years ago, they are in an assisted living facility in Jasper, Indiana and facing eviction with no home or other facility to go to. Fees for housing are over $6000/monthly, with several $1000 in arrears.
They also incur insurance, Medicare, medical, medication, and vision expenses. Many legal documents have been lost and are unrecoverable in the unlivable home that must be purchased and replaced. There are no funds for clothing or other additional needs.
Sometimes all it takes is a small act of kindness to change someone’s life. This gentleman has spent his life working. Please give him some comfort and peace of mind of having a safe and caring place to live.
Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward housing expenses in arrears and forward through 2026. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser so it can reach others who may be able to help. Please share and pass it on.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity and support; it is truly appreciated.
