Hi all,

My name is Kathryn Fallon, this fund raiser is for my brother, who has been battling a rare cancer since December 2020

His cancer is called a Malignant Thymoma, I know more about this rare cancer, 1 person in 1.5 million gets it. Then again being my brother’s caregiver, I know how everyone of his treatments has been done and the effects: 3 surgeries, 2 different rounds of 4 week each chemo treatment’s, 1 25 treatment session of Proton radiation.  And currently going through another 25 rounds of Proton radiation here at MD Anderson  The one surgery was in December 2022, then the 2nd one in May of 2023.

A little about my brother, he is the youngest of 3 kids, I have 2 brother’s I am the oldest and with both of our parents gone and his ex fiance, the caregiver part has fallen on me.  I don’t mind it at all.

He worked as a big truck mechanic for 30 years, we think this cancer was caused by 30 yrs., of working with all kinds of chemicals as well as diesel fumes, asbestos brakes, clutches, etc.  He worked so hard yet now he is losing everything he had worked for.  I help him out financially as much as I can.

Anyone who has dealt with cancer themselves or a family member knows not only the emotional, mental, physical effects and the devastation it causes, but the financial devastation as well.

I know it is rough for everyone right now, but between travel to and back from Houston at MD Anderson 8 different times, the cancer treatment h in Arizona, 12 days in ICU and varies medicines and doctor bills, and the massive credit card bills because of all of this, and back taxes on his hose, he is on the verge of losing everything and the stress level is so off the charts it’s hard for him to just concentrate on getting better.

I know it is hard for everyone financially now, but any and all contributions would be so much appreciated.

Thank you,

The Kobylinski and Fallon families.
