The Hawk Enrichment Center, located in Sylvania Ga is a Non-Profit organization youth center working with at-risk youth and their families in our community. Our soul purpose is a holistic approach to develop community based educational and artistic programs, designed to mold individuals into morally responsible citizens in body, mind and spirit. This will serve as a bridge between home, school, church, and the community. It is more than just bringing together youth but to remediate low academic skills, to build self-esteem and to serve as an alternative to prevent drugs, violence, and crime. Its main function is to provide a wide variety of well-planned and professional directed activities for youths who themselves are in period of physical and social transition, and thus need close personal warmth and understanding. Such experience will include the acquiring of basic knowledge and understandings, improving the self-esteem concept, development through recreational activities and inter-cultural understanding and appreciation. We are committed to our mission by providing a positive, essential learning environment where each child is challenged in mastering academic progress, where youth can continue their education, physical, personal and mental development, and social skills that will enable students to be successful in their future endeavors. This Mission is designed to enhance basic skills, inspire learning, provide experience, and to encourage positive physical and emotional growth. Our mission is committed also to helping young males and females in the community to re-establish themselves in the community and school to be productive citizens . IT IS OUR MISSION TO HELP 1 YOUTH AT A TIME providing after school tutoring programs, After School Table where we provide meals for youth after school ensuring that no child in our community goes hungry. The need has raised that our center in in need of a Parking lot on our grounds to resolve water issues after rains, due to bad drainage, We are in need of a 50 X 100 asphalt area to help end this problem and needing the help of individuals like you to get this due. The parking lot will also help with easy accessibility, for the community by youth, family, seniors and anyone needing our services. Our goal is to raise these funds by early spring the time of the year that we are able to get this done as the weather warms up
