Hi friends. Over the past several years, our amazing friend Sarah has walked a difficult road with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), facing each challenge with courage, prayer, and full trust in God. After two hard-fought battles, her leukemia has returned for a third time.
Sarah is currently undergoing a more specialized chemotherapy and also working with a naturopathic doctor. The chemo is really painful and hard on her body, which has already been through so much. And her protocol with the naturopathic doctor is very intense, with tons of supplements, new routines and rhythms and also a very strict diet. She and her family are prayerfully following the path the Lord has placed before them- taking it one day at a time and believing that healing is possible! As they have said over and over, the Lord will provide! The strength, joy, hope and peace that radiates from them is only because of Jesus.
Many people have reached out asking how they can help. The reality of ongoing medical care, alternative therapies, and the long-term nature of this journey creates a meaningful opportunity for their community to come alongside them.
