Hello, I’m Shelly. I am reaching out because I am once again in the fight of my life. I am currently battling Stage 4 Colorectal Cancer, which has recently traveled to my tibia bone. On March 2nd, I underwent surgery on my leg, and the healing process has been incredibly painful.
This past year has been a series of immense challenges. On March 23rd, it will be one year since I lost my father—the same day I am scheduled to begin my next round of radiation treatments. Last July, a major surgery left me with an ostomy, and I have previously undergone two hip replacements.
I have been held down by health issues for years, but the financial strain has now become overwhelming. Due to recent insurance cuts, I am only left with a fraction of the coverage I once had. I am struggling to afford. Such as my necessary daily supplies for my ostomy and recovery.
I am in urgent need of a reliable, low-cost vehicle to get to my frequent radiation treatment, chemo and immunotherapy appointments, and many other doctor appointments.
My dream is to finally have a modest, stable place to live—like a prefab or container home—where I can focus on healing and living out my life in peace.
I just want my life back, and I want to be cancer-free. Any amount you can donate will go directly toward my medical supplies and securing transportation. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing my story with others.
Thank you for your kindness, your prayers, and for helping me in this fight.
