Billy has been fighting Stage IV cancer; he was originally diagnosed with Nom-small Cell Aden Carcinoma in 2020 and advised that there was no cure, they started him on Chemo and Katura and after receiving 4 years of treatment was re-diagnosed with 5 forms of cancer. He now fights the original cancer NSCAC and currently found he also has B-Cell, T-Cell, C-Cell, Non-Hopkins, and Burkitt’s Lymphoma.
He was started on lymphatic chemo treatments, with the cost of drugs and premiums rising we were no longer able to afford the secondary insurance. We are now responsible for 20% of all cost that range from $1560 to $4053 per treatment, this does not include the cost of medications, and tests.
We are praying for humble hearts that understand what we are going through. We are in our 70’s and I am the only one working. I need help, due to cost of the rent, groceries, and gas.
Dorothy, the wife, is the only one able to work, and does not qualify for Medicaid. Cost of living continues to rise and not sure how much longer we can make it. Our cost for insurance went to $596 for part A and B, and $196 for part D, not including the cost of monthly drugs of $1956; we are now responsible for the chemo treatments, without treatment his life will expire quickly. Our rent is $1760 a month, along with water, electric, internet cost due to work from home, and all other bills. We are not going to make it through this year.
