Friends,
My baby sister, Veronica is savoring the last days with the love of her life. Veronica and Jamie met in high school, they fell in love, got married and left for school together. They have two young children—6 and 3–a matched set. This spring Veronica and Jamie celebrated twenty-four years of marriage.
Two years ago at the age of 37, Jamie began treatment for stage four colon cancer. He entered Hospice on November 9. Since mid-October when Jamie entered the hospital, Veronica has been on unpaid medical leave to care for Jamie and the kids.
When he is free of this pain, she will need time with the children to mourn, say goodbye, and continue on.
Donations will go towards…
Childcare
Medical expenses
Insurance
Food
Mortgage
Utilities
Funeral Expenses
Please give as you can. Any additional funds will go towards paying off the home. This will guarantee Veronica and the kids can remain in the home Jamie and Veronica chose to raise the family in. This way, a piece of Jamie will always be with them.
Last month, Jamie and the kids made a Christmas a Birthday gift list. We are posting the Amazon wishlist. Please help Jamie give his babies one more year of gifts.

While in the hospital, Veronica posted this…
We live in a world that tells you to always want more.
A bigger house.
A nicer car.
A picture perfect life.
But you know what I have learned?
Happiness doesn’t live in “more”
It lives in the little things.
The sound of your kids laughing in the backseat.
A cup of coffee in the quiet before the chaos.
A hug that lasts a few seconds longer than usual.
Dinner around the table.. even if it’s just pizza.
One day you’ll look back and realize these were the big things.
The things that made life rich.
The things that actually mattered.
So if today feels messy.. or small.. or not enough.. take a breath.
Because these are the moments you’ll miss one day.
These are the moments you’ll wish you could get back.
Stop chasing “perfect.”
Start loving “right now.”
