*About MDS Academy: A unique Montessori Private School that not only offers the required K-12 curriculum but also strongly focuses on extracurricular activities, which are meant to prepare each student for life in the real world. They coach with vital life skills by offering personalized, hands-on instruction on how to navigate real-life situations. They do this by teaching such things as basic vehicle knowledge: checking the oil, pumping fuel at the gas station, how to change a tire, or properly add air. They walk their students through applying for a state ID card or obtaining their driver’s license, opening a bank account, learning proper budgeting, how to build their own business, communicating efficiently and professionally, creating a resume, applying for a job, how to build their own credit, and much more!
*What’s new and exciting? – MDS Academy and its students are very excited about the introduction of a Horsemanship program with hands-on equine experience, and a Ranch Work Program in which students work hands-on with livestock, horses, and other farm animals. Also in the works is a Pre-Veterinary course that will prepare students for a career as a Vet or Veterinary Assistant.
*What is most important: MDS Academy cares greatly about their students’ mental, emotional, and physical health, placing their well-being above all else by continually supporting and encouraging them as they develop into mature, confident, and responsible young adults.
*Please join with us today to ensure every child at MDS Academy has access to the materials and experiences they deserve.
