Hi world my name is Quinton, I love doing ride share, I love God almighty and life.i am from North Carolina born and raised. the photos I have uploaded shows my 2021 Nissan kicks I saved up to purchase back inn late October of 2025 using a 2023 Nissan Altima Uber rental from Hertz of overland park Kansas throughout the entirety of year 2025 working everyday inn Kansas city Kansas and Kansas city Missouri. once I finally saved enough I bought the car from a trusted used car dealership inn Raytown Missouri but the actual car was listed on Facebook marketplace, the car originally belonged to a nursing establishment where it was maintained very well. after I purchased the car I knew I had to take it back to North Carolina with the 30 day tags to register it and continue my Uber journey inn Charlotte north Carolina being that I have a physical address there with the goal of building funds back up to return to Kansas city. once I got the car eligible inn north Carolina I used the Uber services to build money back up, I already knew how well I would do inn the KC area once I made enough to return and get a physical address, unfortunately on new years eve shortly after picking up my last passenger for the day I made a left turn off of Midland avenue onto Wilkerson Blvd around 3pm on 12/31/20025 and once I got inn the far left lane after yielding into traffic I noticed inn my rear view mirror there was a car approaching my rear at a high rate of speed beyond the posted speed limit, I tried to accelerate but to my surprised the speeding 2017 Lexus kept up until it hit me and ruined my cars qualification for Uber, I hated the way this happened because it put me out of work and the female that hit me did not own the car she was driving and she lied to the officer on site about how the accident happened witch made it difficult for me to pursue fixing the damage. progressive offer’d to fix it but only if I paid a 2500 dollar deductible but 3300 is all I had left after I purchased the car along with starting the insurance and I was living out of an extended stay at the time the physical address I used to register the car was 74 miles away from the Charlotte area, the extended stay was 454 dollars per week witch I was okay with paying before the accident and I needed to stick around for rehabilitation visits so that I could get paid from my injuries I received from the accident, to this date the attorney I have on my case has not been communicating with me and I used the money I had left to pay for the extended stay inn the Charlotte area inn order to make those rehabilitation visits but it seems like the attorney is going to screw me over, the attorney has been very shady about the progression of my case, she will not update me on what’s going on, all the while I’m getting lower and lower on the emergency funds I have to my name. I am asking for a 15.000 goal so that I can repair the damages and also get an apartment inn Kansas city so that I can have the car registered inn the state of Kansas as the traffic there isn’t as brutal as Charlotte north Carolina. I really hate that this has happened to me. I had big plans after finally returning the Uber rental car and starting my Uber journey with my own vehicle that I purchased with money I worked hard for, I had no idea a random person would rear end the car I just purchased ruining my life pretty much. If the world could just help out even if I don’t reach the goal I should be okay if I can get the damages fixed…thanks for reading.
