My car just gave out and I was quoted $7,500 to fix my car. My car is not even worth that much anymore. I can not afford to fix my car, let alone a down payment for a newer used car let alone getting a new car. I have a steady job, but with rent and providing for my family makes it kind of difficult to save money. I have been trying for years hoping that I would be able to have enough money to afford a car. Now the day has come and with inflation still rising, I just can’t afford a car. I can’t afford bus tickets or Ubers because of how high my bills are. I still need to provide for my family. Without a car, I wouldn’t be able to get to work. If I can’t get to my job, then I would lose my job and everything that I have will come crashing down. Some things you can’t control even if you try as hard as you can. I know this is asking a lot and it is embarrassing that I am even doing this, but anything will help. Please find it in your heart to help me and my family by making sure I can keep my job. This would mean so much and will help get rid of some of this stress in my life which I don’t need.
