Hello Everyone,

My name is Vanessa, I have been diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer, a stage IV diagnosis that’s become a catalyst for me to truly live. While this is an ongoing battle, I am choosing to rise above it with hope in my heart. Every day, I am making a conscious decision to make the most of my time, but the financial burden of bills, car insurance bill, and property taxes twice a year, and on top of those daily groceries- is becoming a challenge. I am raising funds to cover these costs so I can focus on my treatments and creating unforgettable memories with my children and loved ones. Your support provides more than just financial relief; it gives me strength to keep pushing forward. Please consider donating to my journey.

April 15, 2024, I embarked on an extraordinary journey to conquer a lump. Despite initially being HER positive, my cancer evolved into triple negative breast cancer, while I waited for treatment to begin, I faced a dual challenge with an infection on top of my cancer. Once the infection was under control, I waited three months to start treatment, which finally commenced on July 2, 2024. My unwavering determination led me to the ER, where I was admitted and began my first chemo treatment, after being diagnosed with stage four breast cancer. Later, I discovered it had spread to my lymph nodes. After completing treatment on October 15, 2024, I was declared in remission, but my body was exhausted, and I experienced fatigue. Although I could not get out of bed, I persevered with unrelenting spirit. Upon finding neoplasms on my left breast, I informed my doctor, who decided to monitor them closely. In September 2025, they took action, and the results revealed metastasis in my bones, with spots in my spine, hip, ribs, and left lung. I underwent four months of chemotherapy, followed by a PET scan, CT scan, and an ECHO, which showed positive results. However, the PET scan revealed my cancer spread further due to the cancer resistance to the chemo. Undeterred, I started a new chemotherapy regimen two weeks ago, and I am hopeful it will be more effective. Once this treatment concludes, I will undergo bone cancer treatment. Although, my chemotherapy treatments are indefinite, I remain resilient, focusing on overcoming this challenge with courage and determination.

God Bless,

Vanessa
