Please help me Melissa and my family raise money for medical bills/bills. this last year has been the worst. March, I was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer Hodgkins lymphoma. One week later, my father was killed in a hit-and-run. I had to have him cremated and sent to me as I wasn’t able to travel. My kids have been thru hell. We have been struggling to pay bills with me in the hospital and my husband missing work to take me to appts and chemo. Insurance has been an issue, and I was without for about a month. So I owe almost 10,000 just in medical. I applied for SSI but was denied after being told I would get approved. Medicaid approved me but then gave me a plan my doctor doesn’t take, and they refused to change the plan. Bills have gone up, and I have 2 kids, and we had to use credit cards to cover expenses which are now maxed. Currently in remission but have scans and blood work constantly. We are drowning in debt. We haven’t been able to get therapy to get thru all of this. On top of that, our van no longer works. we fixed the problem, and now it’s not working again. We have no money to fix it. I need to get to my appointments I cannot miss. I have tried to get help. Was denied Medicaid and food stamps as of now. I have applied for work. We just can’t get a break. please anything helps.
