Thank you for reviewing my campaign. My fiancé, Mike, has had the struggles of his life and needs to finally make it home. To begin starting in September last year he was attempting to fly home from overseas work. When he went up to come home he had a medical event and passed out. They quickly returned. He spent over 3 weeks in an infirmary receiving treatment for high blood pressure and for Malaria that he contracted from work. He was near death. He had several attempts to make it home and each one ended up with a quick landing and a hospital visit. One day he was planning to board a flight to come home the next morning when he passed out in a hotel room and was found by a housekeeper and rushed to the hospital. Keep in mind, this is still overseas. When he regained consciousness, he was in a coma for days, he found out that it was due to his out of control blood pressure and was in heart failure. He ended up having heart surgery replacing a valve in his heart. Once he recovered, a little over a month later, he attempted a flight to come home again. Once on that flight he had another medical event that landed him in another part of the country and in the hospital again. When he was there, he had many issues with his health, blood pressure, and heart. The doctors told him that he needed a heart transplant. He thankfully was able to get a new heart. Now has been in that hospital for 2 months now. He is finally stable enough to make it home now to the United States. Keep in mind as he has been dealing with all of this (5 months now) and with countless money spent on flights that landed places other than his destination (USA) and continual medical expenses. We are out of funds and need to pay his medical bills and get him home. While we are very grateful that he has had doctors and nurses that cared for him, he is now at a place to come home. He has fought a long hard battle. We need $25,000 to come home. He is not able to fly because of the pressure on his heart. So now, he will be taking a ship from there to here, in the U.S. We need to pay his medical expenses BEFORE he can come home. He has been through all this with no one that he loves by his side (except from a distance). He has no family there and hasn’t all this time. He knows no one and has no friends through all of these hurdles. When he makes it to America, he will have family that will be able to help him through his recovery and be there to support him. His fight is not over, but I can’t imagine the struggle and to do it alone. Please help with whatever you have. We appreciate your kindness. May God bless you!
