Hello, my name is Donald L Angel SR I was recently diagnosed on 08-19-2025 with MDS cancer (Myelodysplastic syndromes) a rare cancer that affects
- Overall: 4.9 cases per 100,000 people
and I am needing help to raise funds to afford my treatment and for my every month bills I am a 65-year-old Disabled Veteran that’s on a fixed income. All funding that I may receive would be used for help with bills, treatment, and for the 2 times a week transportation to and from doctors and the closest cancer center in Lexington Kentucky that is 2 hours from my home. At this time, I am Having trouble with paying for the treatment and getting to them and to doctors’ appointments 2 times a week. I also need help with paying for blood and platelets that I sometimes have to get 1 to times a week that if I don’t make it to can affect my health due to my red, and white blood cells, and my Template counts. They drop due to the cancer of MDS due to it does affects my bones and my blood to where I must have infusions, During those times. I am finding it hard to get gas to get there and back home. If anyone could help it would be greatly apricated.
