Within the past week I have had a lot of hardships. I currently do not have a job and do school full-time. I have no financial support and grew up out of the foster care system! I am doing all of this on my own. Last week my car started leaking coolant and overheating. I took it to a shop, but I was told there was no leak in my car and everything was fine. I should not have listened and thought maybe it was my air conditioning condensating.
After that my car got booted. I had parked in a parking lot and went into a neighbor establishment for 5 minutes where I got booted. I had to spend $160 and the signs were written in sharpie. I called the police and they could not help me even though it was predatory behavior.
After that, my car overheated, so I pulled over and that’s where someone side swiped my car. They took out my driver side mirror and it flew 30 feet away. They ended up doing a hit and run, but since I didn’t get their plate or their make the police would not help me.
Now, today I took my car to the shop where I was told that my head gasket is blown. My engine is warped and my oil is now mixed with coolant. This is definitely recent, but my car is worth nothing. I cannot sell it anymore and it has to be taken to the junk yard.
Anything to help me get back on me feet again and able to get my life in order will help me. I am unable to currently get to university and rely heavily on my car for every day things.
