When my son met and married his wife in 2021 he never imagined anything could go wrong as he had found his best friend and the person he wanted to marry, spend his life with and grow a family. Unfortunately having a family would soon prove to be difficult for reasons he never could imagine.

In early January of 2024 Aaron was just 29 years old when was diagnosed with testicular cancer. After having two surgeries he realized he would have to be on hormone treatment for the rest of his life but the goal for him was to be certain that the cancer would not spread. He had sought out treatment with some of the best doctors in the country that recommended that he try getting a RPLND surgery where the abdominal lymph nodes are removed. Generally, this is where the cancer would spread and the RPLND surgery would prevent that.
Unfortunately, Aaron had a major complication due to part of his lower intestinal bowel that had died. The picture below shows a wound vac that was used to close the open wound that he was left with after surgery. The wound care was EXTREMELY PAINFUL EVEN AFTER BEING GIVEN strong narcotic drugs before each change of the bandage. I removed the picture of the open wound due to the blood and graphic nature.

Aaron had a long and painful recovery. With many many scars he still managed to be positive and eventually healed mentally and physically. Unfortunately, the following year in 2025 he found out that the surgery that had caused him so much pain did not prevent the cancer from spreading. He was diagnosed with 2 more tumors in his groin area. He had surgery to have them removed but was left with a drain in place for several months. He was miserable. Here he is at a friend’s wedding with his drain that ended up leaking all over his clothes and forced him to have to leave early that day.
Eventually the drain was removed, and he was relieved to think that he could finally put this nightmare behind him once and for all. That relief soon ended when he was told again this year January 2026 that the cancer had yet returned and he now had 4 more tumors again in his groin area.
Testicular cancer was once a death sentence for most men. But due to a wonderful doctor named Dr. Einhorn who came up with the treatment for this type of cancer, most men today are able to beat it. Dr. Einhorn is now treating Aaron with 3 cycles of BEP Chemotherapy. This is known to be one of the hardest forms of chemotherapy treatment especially at the end. He will lose weight, be fatigued and sick to his stomach. If side effects are too much he will have to be hospitalized. Today Jan 14th is his 3rd day so far and he is already feeling fatigue that he says he cannot describe. Aaron could use some help getting through his chemotherapy and with his recovery which will be long.
Anyone that is able and willing to help Aaron at this time even with a small donation please do so. Even if it helps him with the gas money to get back and forth to the hospital or even ordering smoothies which is something he seems to like to eat right now even though his appetite is completely gone already. He says he doesn’t know why but a friend brought him a smoothie and he ate it like nothing else ever.
This has been a very emotional and physical struggle for my son who is truly one of the most positive people you would even come to know. No matter how bad his day is he will manage to bring a smile to your face.
If you are unable to help with a donation, please consider keeping him in your thoughts and prayers. He needs all he can get! And please be kind enough to share out his fundraiser with others on social media. If everyone would give just a little it would mean a lot.
Surgeries and treatments to date: 2 surgical removals of testical cancer, RPLND surgery, RPLND complications surgery, surgery to remove Ostemy and repair lower intestinal bowel, surgery to remove 2 new groin tumors, 3 cycles of BEP chemotherapy to treat 4 new tumors.
Aaron and his wife both say Thank you!

On Monday 01/19/2026 after my son had his Bleomycin he spikes a 102 degree temperature. He spent 2 days in the hospital making sure he wasn’t septic. Sepsis is a very serious condition that can develop in anyone when their body overreacts to infection, but people with a weak immune system or neutropenia have a higher risk. Neutropenia is caused from the chemotherapy. Instead of just attacking the infection, sepsis causes inflammation throughout the body, attacking the tissues and organs.
On Wednesday 01/21/2026 He went home and is feeling much better. His next treatment is on Monday 01/26/2026. Fingers crossed for no bad reactions again.
