Hi All,
My name is Awa Keita. I am writing to you to kindly solicit through your organization/platform, some financial aid for a medical expense.
I have severe abdominal/uterus fibroids for which a hysterectomy was highly recommended. I have had a surgery for the fibroids removal in 2009 but unfortunately they have grown & increased in size & numbers.
I am 5’ 8” and tiny but the size of my abdomen is that of a 20 week old pregnant lady according to the scans of the fibroids. I am generally a very active individual but now suffer from extreme fatigue, severe abdominal cramps & back pain. I can’t sleep well because I sleep better laying on my stomach which is barely possible now & very uncomfortable.
I have never been married & have no kids. I have been mistaken for being pregnant & offered congratulations for which is really distressing & so ironic considering my situation. So it is with a heavy heart that I have agreed to go ahead with my Dr’s recommendation.
I have already saved up enough to cover 3 months of my rent, utilities & household expenses as my work as a cashier comes with no benefits & insurance. I just need enough aid to cover the surgery cost.
