John had robotic colon surgery to remove primary tumor. He is doing very well! We are still waiting for approval of histotripsy for John’s liver. Thank you for all prayers.

27, 2025. John is still awaiting approval for histotripsy procedure. If it is not approved John will have surgery for removal of the liver tumor. This would be followed by colon surgery. 2,2025. The judge has made his ruling. However, we were told his clerk has to “type it up” and deliver it to the court. There are 10 others ahead of us. Please continue to pray and donate if it is possible for you. May God give you wonderful days and good health! Thank you, Ginny
Update 4/15. John had the hearing with the judge today. The Humana MD stated to the judge, Humana will not approve the histotripsy procedure. It is the judge’s decision now. Please pray for John and donate if you are able. Thank you. My husband, John Resor, received a distressing diagnosis of colon cancer with metastasis to the liver in October 2023. Since then, he has been undergoing chemotherapy. Unfortunately, in November 2024, his cancer markers rose, prompting a change to a different , more toxic, chemotherapy regimen that he is struggling to tolerate. Seeking clarity and additional support, we consulted a surgical oncologist, who strongly recommended that John undergo HISTOTRIPSY, as soon as possible. This procedure purpose is to kill the liver tumor. The experience of navigating this situation has been overwhelming. The cost is a staggering $50,000, and we find ourselves in the midst of a third appeal with our insurance company for coverage..this process began in January 2025. John’s case before a judge April 15, 2025. We are filled with anxiety as I worry we may be running out of time. John’s medical expenses have surpassed 1.8 million. Unfortunately, we lack the financial resources for this crucial life-saving procedure. Turning to others for monetary assistance is tremendously difficult for both of us, but our desperation compels us to reach out. John exemplifies strength and faith. It is his unwavering belief that carries us through even our darkest moments. John is loving, kind, generous, and devoted to his family. Witnessing his struggles over these past months has been truly heartbreaking. At the chemotherapy infusion suite, it is John who enters with the brightest smile, offering encouragement and support to his fellow cancer patients. He seldom allows anyone to see just how unwell he feels. John holds an unshakeable faith that he will find healing through God.
