Our friend and chosen sibling, Xander (they/them) is a light beam of a human being that is a trans single parent and in need of some radical community support!
Xander was hit by a gd car while they were riding on their e-bike. The bike was totaled and it is their only mode of transportation. Their body is already in a lot of pain and they will be needing to take time off of work to recover. Between supporting their family and themself, they cannot afford to miss the amount of work that they will need to recover. Lets all as a community come together to help them take time to heal their body!
The driver responsible will be able to cover some medical costs but that won’t come through for several weeks and Xander will need to miss work as soon as tomorrow! The drivers insurance might not be enough to cover the loss of the transportation and time missed from work. As well, insurance won’t come through for a bit and they need help now!
We’d love your help to raise the funds that will support them in this way, replacing wages lost from taking the week off of work. As well as providing a new (to them) form of transportation. Ideally this will be another e-bike because they travel 10 miles round trip for their work commute. Let’s do what we can!
