help Terri get back on her feet after cancer

my name is Terri Coward and in 2019 I was devastated when I was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer I had been sick for a long time before I was diagnosed and finally I got to sick to work so I had to quit my job I applied for disability but was denied so I had to turn to my son and ask him to help me pay my bills but at the time my son was trying to go to college but  because I was sick he put off going I feel so bad because  feel like I am stopping him from getting on with his education I really need to get back on my feet i have been job searching but nothing yet thank you so much for your help
