As a mother, there are no words to describe the heartbreak of watching your child fight cancer. My daughter Brandi is only 43 and is diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. Since her diagnosis, our lives have been turned upside down with days filled with doctor’s appointments, hospital stays, long nights of pain and treatments that take everything out of her. But while she is focused on surviving, the financial burden of this fight is falling heavily on our family. Basic living needs are stretching us beyond what we can manage. Insurance only covers so much, and the hidden costs of fighting cancer add up quickly. This is why I am reaching out to our friends, family, and community for help.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward her care, medications and supplies not fully covered by insurance, transportation to appointments, and to help her maintain some stability during this difficult journey. Any donations will give her day-to-day living support as she is unable to work during treatment.
