Hello. I’m starting a campaign for my mother. I want to help her and our living situation. She’s reached a point where she can walk but not without pain. She’s always pushed through for me, and I wanted to do something for her in return. She does so much and I wanted to give back.
One of the main problems that we face is our car. The engine light is on, and we cannot afford for it to break down. I’m not asking for enough money to buy a new car – though I would be entirely grateful if that were to happen – but just enough to see what’s wrong and to hopefully fix it.
The reason I mentioned the car – even if the campaign is for my mother – is because she hasn’t seen her son in a long time. He’s in the next city, but with the car we cannot go see him. She loves him, and maybe I could raise enough to fix the car so she can go see him once again.
My Life:
I’ve been everywhere. From my mom’s house to the women’s shelter with my mom, then my mom and I moving into my dad’s house. Life was decent. Not rich but not struggling. But when my dad passed away it just got worse. Our Septic is overfilled and costs $600 to $800 to just drain, car is acting up, no water heater, can’t even take showers anymore due to how full the septic really is. My mother cannot get a job and provide financially. But I long to help her and myself get out of our living situation. We have two big dogs and one small one. That and trying to take care of us is a hassle especially since neither me or my mom is getting any form of money. We try our hardest and sometimes it feels not enough.
I wish my story will show that I don’t want the money for myself. One day I’ll enjoy my own money – but as of now I just need help and my mom does too. Where we live is rock bottom, and anything will help.
