I am a retired Marine with an honorable discharge, battling stage 4 prostate cancer. I received this cancer from being stationed at Camp Lejeune, N.C. The water that I drank and bathed in was 400 times higher in benzene than it should have been. The sad thing about this is the higher-ups knew the water was contaminated and did nothing about it. Serving our country and poisoned by our country. My illness is treatable but not curable. For now, I am in remission, going through chemo pills and hormone therapy, but like the doctor told me, cancer always finds a way around treatment. I have been through surgery and 37 radiation treatments because cancer has moved to my pelvic area. Any donations would be appreciated and God bless youI am a retired Marine with an honorable discharge, battling stage 4 prostate cancer.
