Hello everyone, my name is Chester Inman, and I am a disabled Army vet. I served from 1997 to 2004. I did my BCT at Fort Jackson and my AIT at Fort Lee. I was stationed at Fort Irwin, Fort Sill, and Camp Casey, Korea. When I was stationed at Fort Sill, my unit was attached to the 4th Infantry and was sent to Iraq. I have been through some hard times since I was honorably medically discharged, but now my family and myself are becoming homeless on the 31st of Oct and there are no resources to help us and my fiancée is suppose to be on oxygen 24/7 and in a wheelchair, us having to set up a tent, having a car or truck would be a start in the right direction and be able to get us to Dr. appts. I’m not asking for help to get a brand new car or truck, but just enough to get something reliable and give us a chance to go look for a new place to live. Any help would be appreciated and passed forward as soon as we could. I normally don’t ask for help because of the way I was raised, but I’m at the point and age where I know when to ask for help, and today is that day, even if all you can do is share this to get it out to anyone who might be able to. Thank you all in advance! my family just needs some serious help right now. Like I said, I don’t like to ask for help, but at the same time, I can not have my family out in the cold, and we desperately need transportation. my wife is in a wheelchair and has many medical appointments that she has to get to, and that is hard when you do not have a car. she uses insurance, but half of the time they don’t ever actually show up to get her.
