My name is Barbara C. I have stage 4 breast cancer and I am seeking help to pay bills because I cannot work at the moment. I have been battling breast cancer since 2018. It went to my bones in 2021 and now it’s in my liver. I am receiving chemo every 3 weeks. I have 12 rounds and I am just on round 3. Please help with what ever you can. This is very humbling for me because I have always worked and now I am just exhausted all the time. If you have anyone going through chemotherapy I’m sure you know what I mean Although every case is different I have been going through this for 8 years but I know God is good and he will take care of me through this journey. Please pray for me, I had to give up my own apartment and moved in with my son who is a newlywed. I’m sure he loves me but they need their own space. The hospital will send someone by a couple days a week to check on me but right now I can do do basic things like cleaning myself and feeding myself. I lost my husband due to a heart attack in 2020. At the time I was doing good. This was the first time I went into remission but with stage 4 the doctors can’t do much but find ways to keep you here longer. Maybe some day while I’m still alive they will find a cure for this awful disease but for now I’ll just keep fighting and fighting. I’ve been trying to do this on my own but I realize everyone needs help sometimes. I truly hope that I would someday get well enough so I can go back to work. I’m in my 60’s but I know a lot of 60 year olds who still work. I use to help people, I was a licensed Massage Therapist and people really appreciated my services. That is until it got too hard. That is my dream to get back to work and help people.
