Rhyan Murray is my son, and he’s only 19 years old. He was recently in a terrible car accident where he was ejected from the vehicle, leaving him in critical condition. The impact caused a severe brain bleed, and doctors had to perform emergency surgery to stop it. To reduce the risk of swelling, they removed part of his skull. Now, we’re waiting for him to undergo back surgery, as well as surgery on his arm, and the road to recovery looks long and uncertain. Rhyan was life flighted to River Bend Hospital in Eugene, Oregon, where he’s been in the ICU ever since.
Rhyan just got his own little place with his girlfriend and their dog, and he was out door dashing to make extra money to take her out for her birthday. He’s a fun loving, caring kid who always tries to help others. Our family is doing everything we can to support Rhyan, but the costs are overwhelming. The funds raised here will go directly toward his medical bills, help cover his regular monthly expenses, provide for me to stay by his side while he’s in the hospital, and help with the list of supplies he’ll need before coming home. This has been a huge financial hit in the family and we are all doing our best to be able to stay by his side and still cover all of the cost that are rolling in from the hospital and equipment needed for him to recover.
Any support you can give—whether it’s a donation or sharing this fundraiser—would mean the world to us. Please help Rhyan and our family as we navigate this incredibly difficult time
