This is not something that comes easily for me to write.
For those who know us, you know that Jay and I have always believed in showing up for others—whether in our local community or within agriculture, which has been part of our lives for generations. We’ve always been the ones helping, organizing, and stepping in when others needed it.
Jay has always been there for me, for our family, and for so many others. Now it’s my turn to stand beside him and make sure he has everything he needs to get through this.
Now, we find ourselves in a position where we need to ask for that same support.
Jay (Jason) has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin Lymphoma. While this diagnosis has been difficult to process, we are holding onto the most important part: his medical team is confident and moving forward with a treatment plan focused on curing this.
His treatment will include chemotherapy every two weeks for the next six months, along with ongoing imaging, monitoring, and medical care. We are ready to face this head-on as a family.
What we weren’t prepared for is the financial impact. At this time, we do not have insurance that will adequately cover the full cost of treatment, and even as we work to secure better coverage, there will be significant out-of-pocket expenses.
We created this page to provide a tax-deductible way for those who feel led to help—especially for individuals or businesses who prefer this option.
Funds raised will go toward:
- chemotherapy and medical treatment
- imaging and follow-up care
- insurance premiums and out-of-pocket costs
- time away from work
We are incredibly grateful for any support. If giving isn’t possible, sharing this page is just as meaningful.
Thank you for standing with Jay and our family during this time.
