On September 29th, Latonia and Jabari’ Thompson’s lives were turned upside down by a devastating car accident that left her injured with 6 Broken Ribs on Right side Front that had to have a titanium plate on each rib yo stabilize, 2 breaks in shoulder on left tide and two breaks in arm on left side, Him with back and leg pain. Both displaced, and in urgent need of support. As they begin the long road to recovery, they are staying with her sister—but the journey is far from easy.
🚗 Latonia must travel frequently between Granite Falls, NC and Columbia, SC for medical appointments, legal matters, and recovery-related needs. These trips are costly and exhausting, and she’s struggling to keep up with the mounting expenses.
🗵️ To make matters worse, the camper they called home was burglarized shortly after the accident. Every valuable she owned was stolen, and the camper was left trashed—adding heartbreak to an already overwhelming situation.
