Daniel has been caring for his elderly mom, Ann, for several years. When her health began to decline and Daniel was no longer able to care for her physically, she was moved to a nursing home facility. Because of the loss of his mother’s income he was not able to remain in the home they rented together.
Daniel’s car was recently totaled in an accident that was caused by the other driver and is now without a vehicle. Fortunately he had a dash camera that exonerated him of any liability in the crash.
He has also had to undergo surgery, and possibly will require another, and will be out of work for 4-6 weeks as he recovers. He then plans to return to his job.
Daniel is a good man, a hard worker, and a son that loves and cares for his mom. He has just suffered a series of unfortunate setbacks and needs some help to recover and get back on his feet.
We are trying to find a place for him to stay, and cover the initial rent costs. We also hope to get him a vehicle so he has a way to get to work once his doctor releases him.
Daniel is heartbroken by the fact that his mom is now in a nursing home and not living with him, and he misses her dearly. And without transportation he can’t go visit her unless he can arrange for a ride.
