Troy Sizemore is continuing his journey and perseverance with prostate cancer. Troy is a dear friend and saint to all who know him. Troy was diagnosed with Cancer a couple of years ago. Earlier this year, Troy started experiencing progressive mobility issues. These issues came to a head one morning in late March when he found himself unable to walk. The doctor directed him to the Emergency Room which quickly led to is transfer to VCU for surgery.
Troy was overflowing with praise for the staff and care he got at VCU, praising God for orchestrating the situation. As one small example of God’s provision, he learned that he was granted the last open bed at VCU and had it been any later, he would have had to go somewhere else.
Troy underwent surgery to reduce the size of the tumors. The surgery was successful and got him on his feet again, but the situation required more medical intervention. Troy recently went through radiation treatments to further the reduction. He is now entering a phase with chemotherapy, appointments, medication, and other medical interventions.
Thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and emotional support for Troy and his family through this. He has repeatedly expressed his gratitude to all those who have supported him from his family, his church, SimVentions, and other friends.
If you would like to provide financial support to help defray the cost of ambulatory and medical expenses, you may give here rather than directly to the family.
Donations through this site are tax free to Troy and tax deductible to you if you so desire.
