2nd Update Friday, 6/6
So it is now 1 week post my first chemo infusion, and they had said my energy might go down starting now (and or a week to come). Apparently, this is the supposed lowest point of my white blood cell count (as it gets bombed by the chemo). I’ll need to ‘hunker in’ for a week while the WBC is low so I don’t pick up any infections. And while I’m definitely lower energy, I am still with my positive attitude. I can’t tell you how loved and supported I feel by those of you who had the wherewithal to contribute to me financially! A couple of you asked if you could contribute directly through Venmo, and yes, you can. You just need to put ‘medical donation’ in the description. My Venmo is Mikaela-Jones-6.
Your support means the world to me. Hope you have a very sweet weekend <3
1st Update Tuesday, 6/3
Chemo Infusion #1 is done! My dear friend, Clare, went with me, and it was pretty easy peasy. NO nausea/ vomiting or adverse reactions during. What I have been experiencing since a few hours following, is intense sharp stabbing pains around the perimeter of the breast and right in the center of the nipple. INTENSE is putting it mildly. I was in tears on Friday night, but took a bunch of CBD oil to help me to go sleep. The stabbing sensations are still happening 4 days later, but much less frequently. I KNOW it is the chemo ‘getting’ the ‘c’ cells so I welcome it and am grateful. And next round I’ll be aware of the journey and get in front of the pain with tylenol and ibuprofin. (I don’t even normally have those on hand being a ‘natural’ girl and all. Been resting/ sleeping a lot. Today feel a bit more energy. 🙂
So grateful for all of your love and support. It feels like a web of light holding, supporting, and comforting me. XO
Hello Dear Friends,
Although my energy and spirits have been good, a recent Pet Scan showed that the breast cancer I’ve been managing holistically has become stage 3 (meaning it is seen in some lymph nodes under the nearby armpit). The tumor itself is also too large to operate on, so I am starting 6 rounds of chemotherapy (4.5 months) to shrink it in order to get the mastectomy, which the surgeon says will take 6-8 weeks to heal.
Unfortunately, I have gone through all of my life savings from managing this over the last couple of years, and am humbly reaching out to you—my circle of friends—for financial support to help cover medical expenses, healing supplements, integrative doctor visits, and living costs during treatment and recovery.
When you donate, your contribution will help me:
-
Continue healing with peace of mind
-
Cover essential lab tests like RGCC, CTC etc., not covered by insurance
-
Receive integrative care to mitigate side effects
-
Sustain myself while I heal and prepare to return fully to my sound alchemy and other transformational work
I believe in this healing journey and that I can be restored to vibrant health —and with your help, I’ll be able to walk it with more peace, less stress, and a deeper sense of being held and supported; which is priceless in value. Thank you, from my heart.
***I kindly ask that this message not be shared on social media. If you feel called to support, you’re welcome to forward it privately to friends and family who may wish to help.
Thank you so much in advance!
With Big Gratitude and Love,
Mikaela Katherine Jones
