My daughter Micherk, lle has stage 3 breast cancer. She is an R.N., not allowed to work, because she is in chemotherapy for 5 months, followed by a double mastectomy. She has limited health insurance, and is a widow. She was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer in January of this year, with an aggressively growing tumor, involving lymph nodes as well.
She also has a tumor in her lung, with has not been diagnosed. She is a widow, with 2 minor children, and her spouse died from Covid in 2021. Her oncologist has advised that she not work due to her immune system being compromised by the chemotherapy. She has also lost all of her hair recently, and is
very depressed.
Michelle is 50 years old, and works as an IV infusion nurse. Her job is per diem, so there are not benefits involved. She has health insurance, very limited, an qualifies for SSDI, because of a back injury she sustained at work several years ago.[
Michelle graduated from college in 1997, with a degree in Communications. She ran cross country while in school, and now has two knee replacements becausew
of the damage that running has done. She has worked for 19 years as an R.N., and misses working now. Her oncologist has been giving her very powerful chemotherapy drugs, which cause mouth sores, and consequently she has lost 5 pounds.
She was a resident of Florida until spouse passed away, but now lives in San Antonio, Texas. We are reaching out to as many non profit organizations as possible for financial help
She is in desperate need of financial assistance to pay for her chemotherapy treatments, and office visits with her oncologist. She also has 2 minor children to support. Her chemotherapy started on Feb. 21st, 2025.
