On the evening of Friday 12 January 2024, we said our final goodbyes to Mario after a two week battle to bring him back to us all, his body succumbed to all he had endured.
He was surrounded by family, friends and some of the CF Panthers football families. Mario had been a staple in our family for over 30 years, the husband to my sister, the father to my nephews and the grandpa to his beautiful grandchildren, son, brother, uncle, veteran (IYAAYAS), side line football and track coach to all, and neighborhood watch to all on Copper Creek ct. He was loved by his family, friends and neighbors and we have seen the outpouring of support from all over the last 3 weeks.
Several people have asked how they can help or what does the family need. The support from friends and family with visits and numerous contributions of food have been greatly appreciated over the last few days. Thankfully due to his 20 years of service medical bills are not a worry we have to face at this time. Any donations made will help with upcoming costs not covered by the VA for service and to help with travel for his family to attend the memorial service (Date and locational still to be determined).
Additionally, In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Mario’s name to
