I have cancer. Squamous cell carcinoma that started as anal cancer, and it spread to my lungs. It is stage 4. My doctors told me it was an external hemorrhoid. Another doctor told me it was a wart, or std, and he gave me a referral to a colorectal surgeon who said it was cancer. I recently lost a major source of income. It wasn’t a big monthly income but I was able to keep up with credit cards. I’m not healthy enough for work at this time. I got a physical capacity test done and found I can only work desk jobs. I lost my last 2 (desk) jobs because I couldn’t concentrate on them. My next step is a cognitive test. I’ve struggled with cognitive impairment for many years now. The income I just lost was from watching my grandkids. I’m not able to do that right now, plus they’re both in school full time. My finances are about to go underwater. Any help I can get is greatly appreciated. It will keep me afloat. Right now I’m drowning and my well being that much worse because of depression. If you can help, it will give me some peace of mind. I’m hanging in there and trying to stay upbeat. I want to stay strong for my grandkids and my own piece of mind. I am doing immunotherapy now. It takes about 35 minutes where chemotherapy took 4 1/2 hours. I love to spend time with my grandsons. They are 6 and 8. I want to stay strong for them as well as myself. My bills are a major source of my depression at this time.
