Last December (12/24/23) just over a year ago, My mom Michelle Lynn Moore suffered an unexpected and catostrophic brain bleed (hemhorragic stroke) and we lost her within hours. She had just turned 45 years old. Growing up as only child my mom was and is the most important person in my life, my best friend. My step-dad Brandon Moore and I have stuck together at home and have managed to pay over half the funeral balance itself. However, we’re now facing the full charge for her headstone ($3,500). We are hoping we could have it placed this spring and finally give her a beautiful and appropriate resting place. Brandon continues to work at Mainstreet, and I am a part-time student working at a funeral home as a motuary assistant. While we make steady funeral payments we in no way expect donations, but we were blessed by a GoFundMe the week of Mom’s passing and we wanted to create our own this time to give her friends and love ones a chance to give to the expense of moms headstone. Brandon & Michelle had just celebrated 10 years together, and our lives, our house, and her family are continuing to grieve her sudden loss. Mom had impacted so many lives and was incredible caretaker who thought of her residents and co-workers as family. If you knew Michelle, you her laugh and you knew her love. Thank you for the endless amount of love & support, and if any money is contributed I thank you on behalf of mom and keeping her legacy here with us.
