I’m a mother of three boys, working a dead end job at Subway trying to make ends meet. My husband shot himself (on accident) with a nail gun in the chest. Back in December of 2024, they told me he wasn’t going to live. Now here we are in 2025 and he starts having pain where he got shot. They found out he had abnormal lymph nodes. They start doing scans to see they are around 2.9 at that time. To find out November 17, 2025 that he has hodgkin’s lymphoma. Now here we are in Feb and just started chemotherapy today. We have 12 treatments. Every other week. It’s hard having to miss work. It’s hard trying to make things work. Gas. Food. Kids clothes. Anything would help.

I don’t usually do this, but I’m in dire need for some kind of help. ;( I’m struggling trying to piece everything together. My husband does work but he’s on layoff and unemployment is not helping much. I am only able to work 20 hours a week as we have apts, and the kids need rides. I’m trying so hard to stay strong for the sake of my three boys and my husband but I would be lying if I said I’m not scared and struggling.
